WATER – WOMAD
WOMAD
WOMAD is a three day world music festival which is presented in the TSB
Bowl of Brooklands and Brooklands Park from 12th to the 14th March 2010.
On site each day of the festival we have approximately 16,000 individuals
made up of customers who have purchased tickets, volunteers, staff, children
and artists.
Background
WOMAD is seeking to appoint one water supplier to supply water for WOMAD.
This contract is for the
• sole water supply to all traders selling water on site
• to sell water directly to the customer base
• to sell refills of water, chilled and unchilled
• to supply the organization WOMAD with water for staff and artists use
In
previous years the following has been provided for artists
WOMAD 2005 – 2,040 x 750mls Bottles
WOMAD 2007 – 1,560 x 750mls Bottles
WOMAD 2008 – 1,700 x 750mls Bottles
In addition supplied has been the following each year for the set up and backstage crew;
5 x Water Coolers
4 x 15 Litre Bottles per cooler unit (delivered backstage to various
sites)
We are unsure exactly how many bottles of water have been sold onsite but this year whoever the successful applicant is will need to supply this information post event.
Requirements
• As per last year we want a personalized label on the water bottle.
• The programme that all ticket holders get free of charge will detail
that water
refills are available for the negotiated price.
• There was a variation in pricing between chilled and un-chilled filtered
water.
• Only the WOMAD branded water bottles can be re-filled on site
• This is the only water allowed to be sold by all traders on site.
The preferred supplier will have two 3x3 easi –ups made available to them free of charge on site in two different locations to allow for water re-fills and selling.
What do we get in return
We want you to provide for us what benefits you will supply to WOMAD
New Zealand in return for this sole supply.
We are open to a mix of percentage of each bottle sold and water for
artists and staff provided freely and any other benefit.
Timing
Expressions of interest will close on the 30th of September. The successful
applicant will be notified by the 5th of October.
