To apply for credentials, the assigning Editor/Producer must fill out the following online application form. If you are a freelance journalist, you must be on assignment from a media outlet. Photographers must also be on assignment. Given the small size of the event, media tickets are limited, not all qualified applicants will obtain media passes and this will be at the discretion of the WOMAD communications team. Applications close December 31st 2016 - Please submit your application ASAP.

ALL media wishing to attend and cover the WOMAD NZ 2017 festival must fill out an application, no media applications will be approved on site.
Media Accreditation is intended for editorial, film and photographic journalists covering stories at the festival. It is not intended for promotional or marketing staff from media outlets. While all accreditation requests will be considered, the WOMAD communications team reserves the right to deny accreditation requests that do not fit the media accreditation criteria.
Please note successful applicants are dependant on pre-festival publicity.
Freelance Journalists / Photographers must attach a letter to their submission signed by their Editor/Client confirming their status as a supplier to that media organisation and the stories they will be sourcing.
