THE JUDGES
Penny Ashton is New Zealand’s own global comedienne who has been making a splash on the world stage since 2002. She has performed more than 600 solo shows and has sold out from Edinburgh to Adelaide to Edmonton. She has represented both New Zealand in The World Cup of Theatresports in Germany, and Australasia in a Performance Poetry Slam Tournament Tour of the UK.

Yorkshire bred Matt Harvey now happily calls NZ home. His hilarious poetry has entertained thousands (and one small dog) from Edinburgh to Edmonton to Dunedin. He's an MC for Auckland's iconic Poetry Live, a Raw Comedy Quest Finalist and Winner of Best Dressed Man in the Hamilton Fringe.

Tusiata Avia is a New Zealand-Samoan poet, performer and writer. Her poetry is confrontational, entertaining, raw and lyrical. Tusiata has performed her poetry at festivals all over the world – from Moscow to Jerusalem, from New York to London.
